Where does this hose go?

Does anyone Know where this hose goes? I can hear it hissing and sucking air all the time. It actually seems louder than the engine idling.

Thanks for the help. I guess I should have figured that out, but I was just so happy that I finally figured out what was making the hissing noise.

What happens if you post BAD info? Does he get demoted to the Accord forum or something?

I believe it either blocks or allows coolant flow to the heater core.

So it's not supposed to be connected to anything right?

I've seen this on a few cars, including mine and a Nissan truck.

I concluded that the Japanese like to make cars with hoses that go no where.

To the best of my knowledge, the only hose that doesn't go anywhere is the manual transmission vent hose, I don't know if there is an automatic transmission vent hose or not. That should be the only hose that doesn't go anywhere and it comes straight up from the tranny and then curls down at the end.
