I went to Jim Wolf's website and I saw that you can rewire a mustang MAF on a SR20DET and some of the TT ZX's. what about maximas? anyone know if we can fit a mustang MAF onto the VE motors for the purpose of more HP?

I soooo confused right now, lol.

5 ltr. beater wants a moostang part on his maxipad

I think I read some where our MAF's are similiar if not the same as the KA or SR's, but I'm not completely sure on that.

Notice the cars you mention that this swap is available for. Now note what car you are asking this question for.
But I'm sure someone will chime in and just tell you the answer anyway.

you can wire it up but you'll still need a reprogrammed ecu for it to work. if it did work, the maf itself wouldn't gain you any increases unless the stock maf was restricting airflow too much or maxing out which won't happen for a while with our maf's.

with my maf on the charged side it took 15 psi to max the reading out. on the cold side it should take even more. i believe at 10 psi i was only getting up to 50% airflow or so so there is still a lot of room for more power.

The stock MAF only need to be upgraded when you exceed 350HP. When that happens reach for a z32 MAF.
