Is it just me?

I had a chance to drive and buy a couple of cars to replace my tranny slipping maxima. All of them just didn't give me that feel of eliteness that I get when I step into the max. Now I have decided to rebuild that damn tranny and get my baby fixed. I tested out a civic, cavilier, and a camry. None of them gave me that I can work with feeling. So I am spending 2 grand to fix my baby up and ready for May 27th. That's the day of my prom. Wish me luck, once more

Because this car was
1) My first car.

2) All of the VE's I have seen for sale are going for about 5-7 grand (More than which I can afford)

3) I have put hours into fixing and doing other stuff to it just to do it all again to basically the same model.

4) I am thinking about putting a 300zx turbo in and the VG engine allows me to with a few modsifications.

5) I need to get this car in top flight shape before the 27th. Buying a new car will limit me because I won't know what's wrong with it and fixing my POS will cost alot less than doing all of that to a car that was probably facing more problems.

6) I also have to wait until next week to put my car in the shop and for me to go out buy a new car will take me a little longer because I must request that day off and if I don't like the car then I lost money from work for nothing.

7) The 4 bangers I saw were all in my price range of under 2 grand.

8) Lastly, The 4 bangers are a little faster than our maxima's if they are properly modded out with about 10g's.

Yeah shes seen better days... still a solid car for someone who just needs something to get from point A to B... I'm going to stop the rust with rust bullet when I find a warm, non-humid day, I also want to either section in some sheet metal in the bad spots or hit it with some bondo just so it looks more presentable... I was going to use it for a project/daily driver but I found a near mint 1994 SE 5spd... so this car has got to go.. I'm very flexible on price

Dang this post went from me renewing my dedication to my maxima to being a post on a car for sale. LOL

BTW I am not really a point A to B person. I am a point A, C, D, E, B. Heck I'm only 17 and the girls around herr are everywherr. I'm going to miss my pimpin days.
