Help Quick!

Im trying to put new brake pads in the rear disc's of my 92' se and the piston in the caliper will not move back to make room for the new pads, so they will not fit! Help me please! I dont know how to fix it but the old pads are down to metal so I cant keep driving on them!

you have to screw the piston back in. just as if you were tightening a bolt. You should be able to rent the tool from autozone or just use some channel locks and a rag so you dont damage the piston

Make sure ur turning it clockwise. . . I had to turn mine in 3 rotations when I changed mine. I got a universal tool from autozone that you put on a ratchet with a 3 inch extenion.

I think I just need that tool to fit the notches in the piston, I gave up and put the old pads back in, I will wait for monday when I can get my hands on that tool.
