Diversity Adapter

I posted in the audio forum, but it seems like no-one want's to answer unless it has to do with the latest high tech doohicky or whatever. Anyway's, anyone have a solution to the crappy reception u get after installing an after market Hu with an antenna adapter? BTW, I would prefer to keep the stock antenna. Thanks.

I got an e-bay adapter and it plays really clear receptions. My antenna is stock. What type of HU are you on?

When you did the installation did you hook up the auto-antenna wire to the HU also. This allows the antenna to activate as in go up ad down.

if everythings hooked up properly you have a bad antena, bad antena adapter or a bad radio because just like the others mine works great with the stock antena and 10 year old pioneer
