Intake:88-91

Hey as i was looking at my engine ( 91 V6 ) i noticed that the first part of the stock intake was similar in shape the to 88-91 Civic Intake piping. Does any one know if it fits ? or If any other car intakes will fit ?

Thanks

I'd be careful making fun of him. He could have the part's/knowledge to bail you out some day! Deal with the flames, everyone get's it at some time or another! To answer your question,yes it will.

I don't think he was flaming....just expressing what all of us would like to see. We all could benefit from the search function returning.

And yes, he does have a lot of parts and knowledge, so treat him nicely, clean_92

I was only saying that I wish I could tell you to search. especially when I know this one has been covered but I didn't pay attention to it so I can't give a good answer.

why adapt a civic intake to your car when you can buy one made for your car? Warpspeedperformance.com

K thanks for all the answers

As for why would i adapt a civic pipe. I can get and find Civic parts for alot cheaper and less ease than a maxima specific intake.

@Clean_92...

I used a Bomz 90-93 Honda Accord CAI, and had to modify it a bit to make it fit, but it works great! I got it off eBay for about US$40 or so. The WSP one costs US$190, and looks like it's exactly the same as the one I have, except for the real K&N Filter (which you can get for about US$60 if you look hard enough).

I realize that you're up in BC, so you'll have to take the CAD vs. USD exchange rate into consideration. I'd suggest that you shop around on eBay and get the one made for the Honda like I did. Don't get me wrong, I have a lot of respect for WSP products and the people that work there, (I'm probably going to purchase my catback system from them) but it seems like an awful lot to pay for the basic setup I paid so much less for...

Feel free to check my website to see how mine looks and you can PM me if you have any questions on what I did. Good luck!!!
