i have a 89 n i try to use the ac but it blows slightly warm air not ho tthough. how do i know it is working properly? n wat should i do?

 

it proboly needs to be charged. your best bet if you dont know how to check or charge your ac is to take it to a shop that does ac work

 

i push my horn on the steering wheel n no sound comes out wat can be wrong

 

Does your lighter, clock work?

if so it might be the horn relay and if not it might just be a fuse.

I could be wrong though...that is wat i would check first and then move to the horns them self and check the wiring.

 

They sell AC kits at autozone for $35. You will be switching from R12 the old stuff to R134 the new stuff. It comes with the fittings so you can only charge the low side. If you charge the high side you can blow up the compressor and possibly yourself. It's pretty foolproof and if you can read directions you should have no problem.

 

Oh yeah, the low side (the place where you check the pressure and charge from) is on the evaporator next to the Ac compressor. NOT the AC line that runs on top of the radiator.

 

so just get the ac kit n recharge it? i know wen i first got the car i had to put a heater core in it,could dat be the problem too. but i will recharge it though. last thing my car died but it has a new battery and the altenator has been makin the engine sound worse before it died wat could be the problem? the belt or the altenator?
