I am having a quandary! Plz read.

I am experiencing vibrations in the steering wheel when I have to brake hard. And it's vibrating on the highway when I go speeds in excess of 70 mph. I recently got my rack changed and he did an alignment for the first couple of days it was cool; but I guess after it settled it started acting up. I am going to get my wheels balanced tomorrow; I had them balanced previous to the rack being changed but maybe they became unbalanced when the rack was changed. I need to know all the components that could cause the problem so I can get them fixed tomorrrow. Also the other problem I am having is a rough idle or low rpm's what ever term is politically correct. It's most obvious when the air conditioner is on; some times are worse than others. I was thinking would a tune up meaning changing the wires and plugs and what ever else they do help my situation. I have had the car for about three years and I don't believe it has been done prior to me owning my baby. If anybody could give me a little insight on what I need to do I am listening; I am in dier need of help. These are the only things that are wrong please help so I can get Maxine back to perfect condition.

If you are getting vibrations in your steering wheel while braking hard it could be because your rotors are warped.

Yeah... sounds EXACTLY like a rotor problem
