This morning I couldn't get my '91 GXE out of park. Usually when I push the brake pedal I can hear a clicking in the shifter and can then move it from Park into gear. Today I didn't hear the clicking and couldn't push the button on the shifter. I could get it out of park by pushing the little shift release button at the bottom of the shifter so I wasn't stuck at least.

Anyone know what the deal is? Is this just some broken piece of plastic in the shifter? Blown fuse? Relay?
