can soembody direct me to a coolant flush/refill for my car? im going to do that before it ake her in.

 

there are several brands of stuff out there.. just wander through pep boys or something and pick out one.. they're all about the same..

run car for 1/2 hour.. drain old anti freeze... add bottle of flush stuff.. fill rest with water.. run engine 1/2 hour... drain system and refill with clean water..
run 1/2 hour.... drain/refill with clean water again.. run 1/2 hour...
then drain/fill with new antifreeze and you're done.

 

I'm assuming antifreeze and coolant are one and the same? Should there be instructiosn on the bottles that I buy? Also, to drain, hwo do I do that, is that the red plug on the bottom of the engine?

when you say add flush stuff, do I add it to the coolant resoviour, and fill the rest up with normal water, or distilled water? and how far do I fill to, the max line?
