Cruise control Governer

Cruise control Governer

Does anyone know how to override the cruise control governer? I a driving to vegas in a couple of weeks and want to try and disable the governer on it. Any info would be great.

so he can set the cruise > 90 (or wherever the cruise stops accelerating)
I'm not too sure it can be done easily....must be something in the cruise control module itself which is pretty much a no-go area for trivial stuff like that.

im also very curious if this is possible because it get anoying that it wont work about 94 mph

Vegas! Sorry, I dunno how to disable it. If you're doing 90+, you really shouldn't have the CC set. You should have your radar detector volume on high, radio down, and looking over your shoulder at all times. haha And I bet you'll still get pulled. Be careful!!

yeah, be careful on that vegas drive. there are so many cops out there just ready to pop out of the shadows. also, they can get you by air so look up every once in a while

have fun and remember to not gamble away you gas money for teh drive back

Well thanks for your help guys. It just makes for a reaaly long drive, driving throgh most of utah with nothing to look at, so i figure if i can get the cruise control to go faster i can do it quicker and have more time in vegas. but oh well, thanks!!
