A/T shifting hard.......really hard

Ever since I changed to a pop-charger, my tranny is shifting a lot quicker and a lot harder. I know that shifting faster is much much better than shifting slowly, but can the car shift too hard and do damage? If so, what can I do?

I doubt it because the purpose of doing a VB mod is to reduce stress and to shift as hard as possible. By hard I mean you can sometimes hear a tire chirp BUT when it shifts you dont hear something banging against the engine.

there is a definite "clack" of gears when I shift from P to R. Anyway, what do the connections look like on the drop resistor? BTW, I've noticed two wires each with a male connection on them like the jack on a pair of headphones. Could these be it or do I have another problem to solve?

That could very well be your dropping resistor. You WILL ruin the tranny if you don't fix the problem.

So how do I fix it? Where should I slide or put the resisters in?

First verify that the dropping resistor is plugged in! then check all the other connectors in that area, MAFS, throttle positioning sensor...

you won't be "sliding anything or putting any resistors anywhere"

Check that your tranny fluid level is okay.
