What Part Do I Need

Ok.. Im looking to fix all the things that the codes on my ECU are implying to be the reason my car wont start.

I get code 13... which on the error code list stickied is cylinder head temp SENSOR for maximas which i have.. I go to the store for parts.. and they have cylinder head temp SENDER and COOLANT sensors... but i cant find cylinder head temp SENSORS only SENDERS..

Should be the same thing. Just another name for the same thing. Sensor = senses what is going on. Sender = sends that info off. Most do the both by resistance. Just make sure it looks the same.

NO
Goto the dealer for those. I have a 88 max. I bought my CHTS and the harness for about 70$. Yours shouldn't cost any more. For parts like the CHTS you cant buy them from the parts stores.
The ones the parts store has is for the coolant system. If that was the part that was F'd I'd say go for it.

"shows how little you know. why go spend your hard earned money at the dealer when we have .org members who carry the parts at a better price and with more knowledge of our cars than most dealership personel" -Brian
