Spark Plug Question!

Hi everyone,
I just changed my spark plugs but think got the wrong ones. I asked the auto shop for spark plugs for my Maxima and the ones he gave me were NGK BKR6E-11. But after looking online at the NGK sites it recommends BKR6ES-11. I have installed the ones I got from the auto shop but now worried my car might not work well. It seems ok with these plugs. Does anyone know what the difference;s are and will its affect my cars operation or power etc.... Pls Help!

it's probably just a revision, you got older plugs

Nissan recomends the XXX#XC version of a plug in the FSM, but the plugs i bought form the dealer were XXX#XG - no biggy

Hi,

the NGK BKR6ES-11 is the factory spark plugs for our cars,

the NGK BKR6E-11 is also the other factory spec plugs for your car,

probably a little change from the two,

the 5 is the stock plug, 6 is one heat range colder.

go for the BKR5E-11 (or 6 if you want a colder plug), they are the V-power ones and look cool

Edit:
S = Standard
no S =V-Power

I change my plugs last weekend from autolite to v-power. the car started to knock at idle. I Unplug and plug the wires one by one and after, it went away. then later in the day it started missing at idle so unplug the ecu over night. started in the morning and it's missing like no tomorrow. 10 mins in and it stop and hasn't come back. My car must be *** up, lucky for adaptive ecu's
