re: photo of muffler set up on a 91 maxima?

My muffler has been rattling a lot in the back, and it looks like it "fell down" a few inches than it should be. So I was wondering if anyone knew of a site where I could see a picture of the exhaust system at different angles.

Would save me some money as far as repairs if I could just fix it myself.

Thanks,
Josh

is the rubber hooks still attached to ur muffler? if it is, it shouldn't be too bad.

yea i saw that it slipped out of one of them that is right near the end. And what happens is that bar that goes in that rubber piece is hitting against another bar looking thing. I put some white tape on the bar so when they clank it's not so freaking loud, but I'm not sure what else to do. See pics below. Any advice would be appreciated. The 2 yellow arrows are the bars that are clanking, the white stuff is the tape. And the bottom pic is just another pic I took of it.

Thanks,
Josh

weld the hook somewhere else...
since ur muffler has this unsightly rust on it, u should just go get a stainless steel aftermarket
muffler that is both loud(er) and cool looking.

hehe.. that's what i did when my muffler had it's wrappings rusted away and it actually fell off.. lmao

yea the sad part is that the muffler is MAYBE a year old, I was kinda ****ed when they put that thing on there. My stock one looked much better, except for it was falling apart. But does it look like everything is attached ok? The sound stopped once I put the rusted piece back in the black rubber thing. And added some thick tape of course.

yeap, the rubber is the exhaust hanger (well the whole thing is but meh). It allows (and limits) movement.
