Various scratches and 5 deep ones on the roof from dragging plywood off the roof or something.

The guy wants 4,400 for it what is a good price to start off the neg at? I was gonna start at 3k but my mom wants to start at 2500.

$4,400? That's waaaay too high. If you try to negotiate with the guy make sure to remind him that the car is almost 14 years old and it really doesn't sound like it's in good shape. Like ^ said, pull a carfax if he is only claiming that many miles, and even if they are true miles try to find out why it was sitting for so long. Sometimes low-mile "gems" have low miles because there is something wrong with them that kept them off the road.

 

did, its clean, supposedly it was owned by an old couple. last year it was only driven 1800 miles, I figure it was like to the store and stuff. From 91-97 it was only driven 16,000 miles.

Thats exaxtly how mine was, its was driven alot in the beginnin of its life, then the last 5-6 years has done maybe 10000 miles absolute max. And it was female owned, so anytime nissan said it needed someting it got it, period no questions about it!

 

Anyone else have any input? I'm going to be calling the guy monday around lunch time.
