Will a 200sx strut brace fit my ride.

I have a problem. Im trying to get a strut brace for my ride & my pump housing for the brake fluid was installed too high. I found one that should fit past this, but I need to know before buying the brace that the strut bolt pattern is the same for a Maxima & a 200sx. I would apperciate any good replies, cause I want to buy the brace ASAP

the bolt pattern wouldn't be the problem, it's the space between brackets that would be.

So, the bolt patern is the same, but the bar would need to be bigger? I would buy mine from the states, but the shipping to New Zealand would kill me. Thats why I want to buy a 200sx if the bar is the same length as a maxima.

most nissans share the strut mount bolt pattern.
and my FSTB is now on took me 20-30 minutes, had to eliminate one jam nut though

The skyline bars that i checked here had different bolt patterns.... although the guy reckons an R33 has the same as the 200sx, but they had none in stock.

Eddie, i wonder if the cheapest option would be to fabricate the plates, and use either the 200sx bar if its long enough, or investigate using the imprezza bar, which apparently will be a better length ?

just get the one from ebay they're really cheap and fits fine with no problem. you just need to unscrew and tap the ac hose gently out of the way and it goes right on top. plus it's only $25 shipped if it breaks just get another one.

He lives in New Zealand and the shipping would be considerably more for him.

Thanks Red, I was going to say the same thing. But, as long as the bolt pattern is the same, going to buy the 200sx bar & if the bar is not long enough, get one made up. I really want to get this bar so my ride will handle better.
