had some spacers made
Since H&R spacers are perpetually out of stock, I asked my friend's dad to make a pair for me (stupid high offset SSR's not clearing the 300ZX calipers!!). Anyway, I thought they came out great and thought I'd show them off. I bought a set of Nismo studs to go along with them. Overall, it was cheaper than 15mm H&Rs but my friend's dad gave me a discount since he used a piece of scrap aluminum to do the job (I didn't realize blocks of aluminum are so damn expensive!).
They are 1/2" thick, and I forget the rest of the dimensions.
P.S. The studs are just resting in the holes -- they weren't pressed in or anything crazy like that.

Well, I've never seen cheapo spacers larger than 1/4". Also, I have some cheapo ones in the back, and while they are ok, when you get to large thicknesses I just feel like you should have more metal pressing the wheel to the rotor than what the generic ones offer (especially when you have a BBK in the front). The ones I had made have a larger diamtere than the cheapo ones. Plus, they look like crap and would only be marginally cheaper than what I had made. But hey, to each his own. The ones I bought for the rear were $10 each and I'd need 2 for each side for the front so that's basically what I paid for my nice ones.
