So I had an idea...

Main focus is on the bumper, I'm not claiming to be the inventer of the shaved trunk lol

I don't really like the shaved trunk look, but I guess it'd have to do for a liscense plate location...I like the way the smoothed bumper smooths out the rear-end...what do you guys think?

The bumper looks good, but how would you go about filling it in? Beings that it's urethane, fiberglass wont work, unless of course you made a whole new bumper!

you could cut a chunk from a donor and have it "welded" into place over the licanse frame space.

Now explain why you want to put the plate up there?

i like the idea...it would definately prevent my already bent up license plate from getting even more screwed...i guess i could always leave things as they are and just stop backing into curbs...

I don't...but I knew if I just filled the bumper everyone would flame me with "OMG WTF WHERES THE PLATE GONNA GO N00B OMGHI2U." I personally don't like the shaved trunk look.

I like the bumper and agree that the best way to go about filling it would be to have a section from a donor bumper plastic welded in.
If you don't like the shaved trunk look and don't want to be just another guy with an angled licence plate, then why don't you cut a section out of the original plastic peice that is on our trunks and put the plate in there? (after finishing that area nicely - don't just cut it and stick the plate in there - that would look horrible) Personally, I would center it too...
That plastic peice is easy to remove and easy to cut and I'm sure you could have a plastic place weld in a license plate 'box' for you. Sure, you may have to paint the peice, but that's the price you pay for mods.
