I was wondering if anyone knew if nissan put the key code anywhere else besides the sticker in the glove box. It seems too stupid to put something so important only on a sticker.

 

do u mean the key code for the keyless entry??? if so thats the only place they put it in. but its actually under the glove box. u would have to get on ur back with a flash light and then u look up over to ur left and u'll see a copper like box with the big white sticker and u'll see the key code on it. its a seven digit number.

 

would that be the same location for the code to cut a master key from?

the location he is talking is for the keyless entry on the gxe,

the master key has a seperate code for it,

i think it inside the glovebox,

the code could come with the keys,

nissan never put them in the glovebox,

it was on a metal thing that was small,

the one im talking about is the master key. all i have is a valet key, and i want a master made. there is a code that is supposed to be inside the glove box on a sticker from which a master can be made. but i can't believe something so important was only put on a sticker. i was hoping it was hidden somewhere else too. but i guess not.
