O/D Switch Relocated

Disscussed it at Max-world.org but would rather discuss it here.

Has anybody done it? I mean, it doesn't seem that hard. I just need to find the right wires to extend and the right shift **** to install right?

I was thinking about moving it to the gear selector cover plate thing. I already have a hole there thats why.

Has anybody else done this before?

Yeah it's possible just as you mentioned. Find the two wires, relocate it to any where in the car, install new switch and you're done. It's a pretty straight forward thing to do, maybe that's why you never got a reply. It's kinda like saying can I move my fog light switch to the glovebox, yes it's possible
