'89 Maxima sales brochure for free
Free 89 Maxima brochure dated 6/89: Would anyone like this one copy of the glossy 26-page sales brochure printed June 1989 for the 1989 Maxima? It has the usual high-quality photos of the cars (7), interiors (2), and close-ups of dashboard layouts (2) including the multi-color all-electronic display. There are cool "transparent" illustrations of the engine, chassis, and body plus details of exotic options like Sonar Suspension II. Two tables list all standard and optional features, specifications, diagrams with body dimensions, and representations of the 10 paint colors. The booklet is 10.75 inches high and 11 inches wide on heavy gloss stock. It has been folded vertically down the center, but the paper is not creased or broken. A nice walk down memory lane.
First person to post a request for this historic artifact is the lucky winner. I'll even pay postage.
I've saved this brochure since I picked it up at the Nissan showroom long before I could think of affording a new Maxima. The design of the car always turned my head. Man, this car still looks good! Paging through these photos confirms my belief that this is one of the best looking sedans of all time while also combining driving fun with practicality. It's an example of how clean, subtle proportions and contours make for a classic design. I finally own a Maxima now, but it's a 4th Gen. It's fine for my purposes (with air bags and CFC-free air conditioning), but I'll always feel I missed out on the classiest Maxima.

Sorry for the delay in replying. By the original rules I think DMad8724 wins the day. Provide me your address and I'll mail it out to you. I'm not familiar with how this forum works, but I assume you can send me a private message with your address if you would prefer not to post it in this thread. If I don't get DMad8724's address in a few days, I guess the next dibbs is up. Whoever ends up with the booklet, I think the idea of scanning and posting it is a good one. I'd do it myself, but I don't have the technology.
