Abs.....

Are the 1992SE ABS pumps/units and the 1991SE ABS pumps/units interchangeable......

91SE part #: 47600 86E00

92SE part #: 47600 96E00

Different part #'s gave me reason for concern

Thanks

Believe it has to do with the master clyinder. 92se with abs has their bias adjustment inside the abs unit. 91 w/ abs has their bias adjustment outside the unit. Connections are different also.

So in short, they are not interchangable as far as I know.

Which one do you need??? Specify it and maybe someone will chime up.

Thanks Jeff92SE......would've been upset if u hadn't told me that

The 1 belonging to the 1992 SE model.....47600 96E00

The actuator/pump which appears at the front left hand side of the engine.....It's really simple to take out and put in.

THanks

I know it's easy. I pulled/sold my spare out of my old 92se w/ abs. If I run into one, I'll let you know

Nissan said it WOULDN'T BE WISE TO INTERCHANGE those parts......But they won't remanufacture it nor do they have any available in stock (at all).

I was thinking about getting it from this shop in Saratoga Springs....I figured they'd be the cheapest for shipping.

But I guess I gotta take that chance....

Thanks Jeff
