I have an 89 maxima, i had it for awhile i just recently put new head gaskets in it but i have had a problem with it idling high and somtimes runs too rich and somtimes will even act like it is flooded when i try to start it

just wondering if anyone has any idea what the problem could be

 

so when ur floor it, does it take long to accelerate?

 

Sounds like mine 2 months ago. My timing tensioner SOMEHOW moved and the timing belt was lose for months. Running like a POS. I'm surprised I didn't fudge of my valves and then some. But I changed my timing belt and tensioner and it runs great now.
