The 87-91 Maxima center caps look almost identical. I know there are cosmetic differences (location of the NISSAN lettering, finish), but the caps themselves look very similar. Does anyone know whether the center caps from these years are interchangeable or do slight differences in size or how they are attached prevent them from being mixed and matched?

 

i'm sure you can fit them. you can also use z31 center caps. the z caps are much cooler so use them.

 

Yeah they are the same but the center caps for GXE and SE wheels are different. My memory is a little foggy but I am pretty sure I tried my GXE center caps on my SE and they didnt fit.
