Difference in Short Shifter?

Is there a major difference between SMC, pacesetter, and stillen short shifters? Thanks.

well the pacesetter and stillen i can tell you. Pacesetter offers an adjustable short throw, the still looks non-adj.

Ive had both -STILLEN! STILLEN! STILLEN!

The stillen is DEFF WAYYYYY BETTER!!!! Yes, its isnt adjustable, but man... big mistakes getting the pacesetter!!! OM F'n G!!!! Ive had both of those units in my 92 and the Pacesetter is junk... Crappy quality, and a sloppy not clean working part. The stillen has a very awseome feel... A little stiff, but its that "click - click - click," and the tight smooth shift that wins the race of the two. Much more rugged a unit, more costly, but well worht it!

I've had the pacesetter in my car for about 3 years now and love it. It is a little notchy, but not bad. Redline tranny fluid also helped clean that up.
I've never felt the Stillen unit, but I think the Pacesetter is a nice mod and Stillen one looks way overpriced.

i have the pacesetter and the throw is excelent but its too stiff for my taste. No point in having a shorter throw when you can't even shift fast. I'd probably go with the Stillen over the lastplacesetter.

I've got the SMC, its ok, I think I tightend the ball coupling too much when I installed it and its sorta stiff.
