No more MIA
Hey everyone,
I know you've all missed me. I have not been able to post because I'm inbetween a move from apartment to apartment. Also, I've had a few hurricanes to dodge.
Well, I'll try to keep this on topic. My 5spd swap is finally done. I had to replace the bearings on the input and main shafts. One of them crapped out on me causing 1st and 2nd to go. At least it wasn't a gear. Those things aren't cheap.
Other than that... I got most of the wiring worked out. I have cruise control and the n/s switch up and running. Also, the shift lock and all my other features are working properly. My only problem is still the reverse lights. I haven't wired them in yet because i can't properly install a 4 pin connector. I need a special tool and some of the pins. This is the type of stuff you get into trying to convert a 8pin connector to a 4 pin. I know that i could just hard wire it but that is hard w/but connectors in the middle of the engine bay. They tend to melt.
I guess that was the least of my problems. Take it easy everyone. I will. I'll reply when i get a chance.
Lata,
Matt

Yeah... I still have 'em. I arranged for sale and brought them to Orlando. However, a maxima.org member that I won't name canceled on me. I didn't live in O-town at the time so they've been sitting for a while. PM me if your interested. I can get you pix or arrange for a veiwing in Orlando.
