5speed swap now no brakes
Ok well gto the car cranked finally.I did disconect the calipers when I did the swap and now I had bled and bled and I get brake fluid out but as soon as they build pressure and u let off the pedel then it falls back to the floor. I had brakes before this but now I dont. What happen? And I have bled the clutch several time and it is still loose and looses pressure.

well turns out I did not break it. I though maybe it had broke the seal in back. But it was just where I spilt fluid.Ok I had bled them some more but I cant get brake or stop the car untill I pump the brake pedel atleast twice. So do you think there is still more air in the line. The only thing I did was take the calipers off of my gxe and i use the 93 se calipers simply because they had less miles. SO i did disconnect the brake lines on the front to put them on so nothing eles should have got messed up? SO what eles do I need to do or check?

i would take off the calipers and make sure that the piston isn't seized.
even if there was a tonne of air in your brake system it wouldn't need to be pumped twice to stop imo. well, i've never heard or seen any brakes get that bad with air in the system. make sure you didn't pinch the hard line coming out of the master cylinder while messing around with the tranny swap.

Well stupid me for not checking if the caliper was all the way back before I put them back on from takinng off the brake lines So I took them back off and push them back and a ton of air and they went back to working just fine. Just got to bleed the clutch a litte more though. But my car is a lot more fun to drive now.And I might have got a half a second back.
