Few AAC Questions

Alright if my auto a/c and heat only operates at the highest level doesn’t that mean my fan control amp has gone bad?

Another question is: when you all turn on you’re a/c do you hear a clinking sound from the outside of the car and if you don’t then what the heck is happening to my a/c

If your fan is only blowing at the highest level, then you have a bad fan motor resistor (I can't remember the actual name). The resistor controls settings 1 thru 3; however, setting 4 bypasses it. That is why it works on the highest level.

As for the clicking sound, yes, you do hear it when the compressor engages and disengages. If you don't heart it. . . well, I don't know as I am not up to speed with the HVAC system. I am sure there are others here who could better answer that issue.

yeah, your fan control amp is bad. It serves the same purpose in teh ACC as the blower resistor does in the manual climate control
