Weight of Alloy Rims Setup

Sup. Just replaced stock 94 GXE wheels with 98-99 SE 5 spokes. Just FIY, the stock setup of 15x6 wheel plus 205/65R15 tire weights 36 pounds, as new 16x6.5 wheel with 215/55R16 tire weights 42 pounds. I guess pickup, braking and gas milage will all suffer a little. But now my max handles better, and looks way cooler. Very easy setup. Nissan really made this upgrade simple.

you know of a place to get them cheap... im not planning any time soon, just kinda know what the goin price is. i saw 4 rim w/ 3 tires for $360 and just about crapped myself when i saw how cheap those were

I got those on ebay, 4 90% new rims and 4 90% new tires for $480 shipped. And $17 for closed end nuts from Ebay too. The tires alone probably are worth $300. So I got the rims for $200?

Yeah, there are quite a few of those wheels on Ebay right now and that maybe driving the price down a bit. 4th gen SEers are dumping those to get 17s I guess.
