I have accidently tripped the anti-theft in my maxima93 and now the ignition key wont turn and the security light in the dash keeps blinking. I tried locking and unlocking the trunck and doors with the key still no luck. Can someone please help me.

Try to disconnect battery. It might reset it the alarm. Check all your sensors on the doors and pull the alarm fuse and re- install it. Good luck. check out the post "car acting very strange today"

this actually happened to me today at school in the rain. I tried disconnecting the battery, and pulling the fuse but nothing worked. every time i reconnect the battery it starts going off again. My power door locks stopped working a couple of weeks ago, so i guess the anti theft system doesn't know it when i turn the key in the door. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Ahh some one beat me to it. I got a ride to my car and was looking for the door lock timer and saw the anti theft control box and unplugged it. Problem temporarily solved.

I can Hot wire the car and get it to start without unplugging the anti-theft system, but the ignition key won't turn at all no matter what.... what could be wrong?

pardes, make sure you didn't lock the steering wheel while you were hot wiring. I know it sounds stupid but its worth checking.
