Power window regulator Replacement

Does any one know how to replace the power window Regulator or know of a site that tell you how?

My driver side widows wont move, front driver side window wont go up ,rear door window wont go down. Figured it was the driver power window switch but replaced it and it still wont move driver window. Thinking the window regulator might be the prob. but unbolted it and cant figuire out how to remove it from the door. cable that makes window go up is preventing me from removing the regulator. Need some HELP on how to disengage the cable from the regulator.

click the how-to link up top and you'll see if. If you can't figure it out, give me a PM and we can work something out. I'm in Pearland and I do work for cheap.

I just replaced both front window regulators this weekend, following Craig Brace's excellent directions. One was broke, and since I heard that the window controller is a design problem in the maxima, I did both of them. [not sure if front or rear's are the known problem for Maximas?] I'm not mechanically inclined at all, and the second one only took an hour to do.

I ran into a problem with the first one, as it didn't go all the way up after installation. I uninstalled it from the door, and wired it up to the power connectors while outside the door panel. Then I ran the cable back and forth using the window button while applying the grease all along the moving cable. After reinstallation, the window traveled the full length up and down. I don't do many car things myself, but this job [and Craig's instructions] was straightforward.
