sounds like leaking injectors to me.

if that's the case, my stalling problem isn't related to any of the above... my hydrocarbons is super low compared to other maximas of the same model year. i get like 15 while average is like 45 with same model cars..

45? uhhhh no.

15 is normal for around town if you drive like I do. when I get on the highway, I can get 30ish... but around town I'm lucky to get 18.

Matt he was talking about hydrocarbon levels not MPG, or are you reading your wideband o2 again?

while this is my second engine and i'm not tring to buy any more . IT runs great to me but the computer said other wise about the gas ,but like matt i all so dont get very much mpg ,BECAUSE I HAVE A FOOT PROBLEM ... ITS HEAVY BUT THATS NOT MY PROBLEM//

you could try the old 1 gallon of denatured alcohol to 5 gallons of fuel trick that might get it to pass. it worked for my 92 f150 and my buddys 87 supra which both failed do to hydrocarbons and i did a full tunup on my truck although i think it proboly needed a new CAT which was original

THIS DENATURED ALCOHOL WHERE CAN I GET IT ,IT WORTH A TRY IF IT DOESNT BLOW UP MY MAX!! OR GET ME BUSTED!!

home depot in the paint section just ask for denatured alcohol 10$ for 1gal

I just passed emissions last night 5th times a charm just make sure timing is not advanced but i still failed and my buddy was doing the test and just retarded the timing as much as possible and passed with lots to spare. I was kind of pissed that he was messing with my CAS without me knowing but I was more relieved of passing its been almost a year. expired 1/04 oh well another two yrs.

as long as you burn all the gas alcohol mix with in a few days youll be fine
