Man, what a job, not really hard, just time consuming. I got the head off this evening, and I think i found the blown part of the gasket. right next to the cylinder was a weak spot in the gasket. I took pic of the whole job and will post when finished. one thing though, I had to use a cheeter bar to break the head bolts loose. When I was breaking No. 7 loose, I broke the Hex head socket scared the hell out of me. Why is the VE engine head bolts tighten down to 90-95 FtLBS of torqe.That seems alfull tight to me.

Hey Brain! I didnt want to order right away, I wanted to make sure the head wasnt cracked (more money) no worries your the man for gaskets!!!! I`ll be ordering in a few days.
