HL Switch

HL Switch

Does anyone know how to get the two pieces off the the steering colum so the switch can be replaced. Thanks.

6 screws - all accessed from the bottom - 2 closest to the dash - 2 at the front/side - 2 at the front. Use a Philips (star) screwdriver with a long shaft in order to get them (they're counter-sunk pretty far). Now remove the ignition trim peice (just pull and/or wiggle it - should come right off). Then just pull the 2 halves apart and remove (using the tilt steering helps to get the top peice off).
