popping noise when i turn or hit bumps

i can hit a small bump and i still hear this popping noise, and it doesnt always happen when i turn, happens alot but not all the time when i turn the wheel to the limit. i know i need a front end alignment, and a mechanic told me i might need a strut, he didnt really examine it, because i came there for something else at the time.

check your sway bar end link quickly, you might need new bushings, linkages.
put on some polyurethene stuff, you won't regret.

check your control arm bushings. if its badly worn out, the joint will run out of shock absorptions. Eventually, making plenty of noises over bumby roads. Check your sway bar t-link, where your front sway bar is connecting to the control arm. The links probably snapped. Just get yourself a new pair of link cuz the stock one isn't very reliable.
