vg- jim wolf upgraded!

i was wondering which z fuel injectors i could use with computer and if anyone had any places you can get them cheap! i also have a problem with slight intermitent ping/knock mostly at idle every now and them, already changed the o2 sensor?

so what is the jim wolfe part about? did you get the JWT computer? what do you have done that you need 300z injectors.

unless you're running massive nitrous or FI you don't really need bigger injectors than the stock one. if your engine is not running right stock then upgrading it would make it worse.

intermittent ping/knock after ecu upgrade...what grade of gas are you using?

run premium gasoline and make sure if you ever advanced your timing you knock that back down to stock levels. upgrading your injectors is pointless as dan mentioned unless you're doing some serious upgrades in which case the ECU would need to be reprogrammed again

i have been using prem gas, i have pop charger, all new exhuast from warp, urp pulley, and no my timing is not advanced. why would you need to reprogram the computer if you used different fuel injectors when i have the jim wolf one? i thought you could do that?

they are set to open the 180 cc injectors for a certain amount of time. if you use bigger injectors they'll still be opened the same amount of time but since they are larger would injector more fuel. basically, if you run larger injectors on an ecu programmed for smaller ones, it will run quite rich.
