overdrive problems

So I'm getting intermitent heavy engine vibrations and Shaking between 45 -75 mph, I first think I need a wheel/balance, get it done, and the problem still persists. Finally figured out That i'm only getting the vibration when the overdrive is on. I've got a 93 gxe, with 180,000, tranny rebuilt with added tranny cooler at 150,000. Is this worth fixing or is it time to cut my losses?
