Shifter hard to get into drive...

Shifter hard to get into drive...

My 89 is tricky to get into drive but all other gears fine?? I have to hold back on shifter to get it into drive...any ideas??

Hi,

it your bushing that causing the car to go into gear hard,

do you have to push your shifter pass D in order for the car to go into drive?

Yes I have to push it slightly past drive and hold for a second..where is this bushing?? Can it be replaced??if so where do u purchase???

Hi,

the bushing should be under the car,

look in the stickys for this or ask one of the guys and they will explain it to you,

The shifter bushing is a cheap part from your nissan dealership. Part # 34552-89900. $1.40
