Two new problems I got....

First,
I was running some wires though the car today for a amp(didn't hook anything up). So when I put in my other head unit that's currently at my girls house, I can hook it all up. But anyway somewhere during the course of this...my stock security system tripped itself. What can I do to untrip or reset it ?

Second,
So all 4 of my windows will not go down for some reason...come to find out the window pulley cables are all tangled up(atleast the D-side one is. I ran out of sunlight before I could get to the other 3. But on my driver side window..the main pulley is REALLY tangled, and since the casing is riveted shut I can't really fix it. so can i just buy the replacement part at autozone ? I couldn't see where the end bolted to the window itself for easy removel in such a occassion.

First...Your security system should reset by unlocking the doors with the key{most factory alarms reset like that}. dont quote me on this, not sure.
Second...One of my back windows tangled up like that,i drilled out the rivets to untangle it then used a small screw and nut to fasten it back.

Good luck!

the part you need is called a window regulator.
Yes people have rebuilt them before, but for the price of $40 you can buy a new one.
So why bother

that price is buying it from me

they aren't particularly hard to replace. Craigb has a writeup on his site for the fronts. the rear is very similar
