OEM muffler

where can I get a OEM muffler for our 3rd gen? Any advice?

OEM= Dealer
Stock replacement = most parts stores, myself included.
it does however come from the factory as one piece from the cat back.
there are companies that do make it in 2 pieces though

You can just go to autozone / fleet farm and scoop up a generic for under $20. You'll probably have to cut your old muffler off (i just used a sawzall) and then slide the new muffler on and use a clamp if you don't have welding gear. IF your welding skills aren't perfect, I'd go with the clamp.

Yes, definitely leaks. Another thing is old welded pipes break just near the weld. Lasts longer if long steel supports are added bridging the welded area with several spot connections.
