There's a large hose which comes out of the top of the transmission, about an inch from where the ground cable connects, but is now disconnected. I can't for the life of me find it in the service manual, nor have I found any open connectors. Can somebody take a look and let me know to what this hose should be connected? Thanks!

Does it appear to look like a vacuum hose or is it electrical? Could be some form of a "breather" hose.

It looks more like fuel line, about 5-6mm inside diameter with fabric reinforcement molded in.
