stillen brake uprade

I have the stage 2 kit
It consists of the drilled rotors, Metal Matrix pads, Goodridge braided lines and some Motul Dot 4 fluid. If you bleed them properly the pedal is as hard as a rock due to the lines. They grab really well. No fade at all. I occasionally auto-cross and fluid with a 575 degree boiling point comes in handy. Expensive, but it works.

You can get a set of goodrich lines just about anywhere. Ford motorsport brake fluid has been rumored to work well. If you want to up grade calipers/rotors look for 93+ TTZ OEM equipment.
Willwood is supposedly putting together a kit for the maxes too.. do a search.. shing was posting about this ~ 1month to 1.5 mo ago

It depends on what you're looking for. for most people, just upgrading rotors, lines, and pads are fine. for others, you'll need to go bigger than that. 300ZX brakes are a popular conversion, as well as the recent Fastbrakes kit with Wilwood components. then there's the $2600 Brembo big brake kit. it's only slightly better (if at all) than the Fastbrakes kit, and it's almost 3x the price. which would you choose? ![Smilie](https://maxima.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
The only drawback to the fastbrakes and brembo kits are they're only for the fronts, and you'll still have to upgrade your rear brakes. I'm currently working on something and I'll "unveil" it formally if/when it works. right now, it's all sitting in the garage until I get another Max to play with.

Go right ahead. Don't mind at all. Same car I've always had, but didn't have a pix of it on a web-site anywhere until I put it on Photopoint. Skymax actually took that picture of me at Carlisle last year. He saw my sig and though it sounded familiar and he knew where I was from. He posted the pix on here and asked me if that was me. I'll take some newer pix at Carlisle this year and have a friend scan them for me to update my sig. Enjoy!
