Gauge bezel

First of all, I want to say Merry Christmas to all of my fellow .org family members! Second off, I just got a carbon fiber gauge bezel for Christmas and I was wondering what the best way to go about installing it was? Should I take the dash all apart, clean the front of the speedo and just stick it on? I placed it up to the speedo and it's a really tight fit, so I figured you have to take the whole dash apart in order to install it correctly? Thanks guys!

I'll get some pics up for you in an hour or two

it sits on the black part of the gauge bezel, so 'inside' the gauge cluster, not ontop of the plastic.

Clean the surface good then do a couple practice shots lining it up, once it sticks it really doesn't want to move .

I haven't had the pleasure of putting in a gauge bezel, but if it is what I think it is, then I think you should scrape some of the black paint off where the bezel adhesive makes contact with the surface of the gauge, since I took my gauge apart once, and the black paint(or whatever it is, likes to peel off.

Someone must have painted yours on their own then, I have never seen the black plastic peel b4. The CF or metallic overlay just remove the adhesive protector, and position, apply some pressure and reinstall.
