Stock spoiler repair

Looks like my stock spoiler is starting to come loose, anyone had any luck repairing the spoiler to replace the mounting bolt locations so that it can be mounted securely again? Just wondering what kind of stuff might work....Bondo?....

I used some super glue on mine. works ok if you don't use the spoiler to pull open the trunk....

I would recommend taking it off completely, then cleaning up the trunk mounting areas, get some doublesided stick or some other type of caulking. and remount it. if there is rust you might want to take care of that while the spoiler is off too...

Then you wont have to worry about the spoiler for a long while.....

Or just go to the junkyard and get a GXE trunklid...

I had to repair one of mine when it just fell off. Clean everything off. Where the old mounting bolts were, drill into the foam with a 3/16 inch drill bit. Get four spiral sheet rock anchors, fill the holes with silicone adhesive and screw the anchors into the holes. Let it set up overnight. The next day carefully spread some of the silicone adhesive on the bottom of the surfaces of the spoiler and then screw up through the trunk and into the sheetrock anchors. Put some sandbags on the outside edges to hold them down until the adhesive sets up. Clean up the stuff that bleeds out before it sets up.
