one more question on CV axels.

Okay, one more post before I go sleep...

I now understand that I was supposed to "yank" the driver's side axel out of the tranny. Albeit I am not sure how this would damage the inner joint (outer was replaceD) because it took almost no force to remove it.

Anyway, my question is, since I am not contemplating getting an entire new axel, when I go to put the new one in, can I just yank out the current driver's side axel (seeing that I am not going to use it again)? I really would like it if I didn't have to remove the passenger side axel just so that I can remove the driver's side correctly...

Another note. Does anyone have a good idea how I can drive in a new driver's side axel seal into the tranny case?

Final note. Can it be possible that the car is still not aligned (perhaps the mechanic didn't do it or didn't know how to align cars or was cross-eyed)? I see that besides the back and forth wobbling of the steering wheel, the car does pull to left on highways. But when I let go of gas and coast, the pulling is not as evident.

I am wondering if my problem is a result of alignment problem...

Thank you for any inputs.
