early GXE tails and why they suck

i hate mine. i dont know who told nissan that the big red center section with chrome trim was but they were quite wrong.
o and by the was does any one know the laws about percentace of lense or what ever they call it. im in jersey. i was just gonna get some black spray and mask off part of the lenses and spray them. and do those reflectors come out?

yea the center piece does come of. There are 8 screws holding it in. You can get another piece in black if you want. Only thing is it wont go too well with your tail lights.

yea id actially like to shave the center section out but i have a dent in the trunk so i would just like to get one from a yard so i can work on it with out worry

I think some people have actually just painted over the center piece to match the color of the car....anyone got a pic of their center tail piece painted?
