Question for those who have done it

I need to replace my power steering pump and rack & pinion. How hard is this to do? How long does it take? Is there anything I should watch out for? Also, should I go parts shop or dealer for these?

Thanks in advance.

no need to go dealer on these parts, just find a local parts store and buy it from them.
they're more likely to have better quality parts and counterpeople who know what they're doing.

yeah, true... my wife can get anything fixed on her car with a whole 5 min of "work"..... but that's not entirely appropriate for this forum, now is it?
