This might sound crazy but I was driving home tonight from a friend's house listening to my stereo and I wondered: Is it possible to add two more Bose 6X9's to my system? If I could get my hands on another pair and the amps for them, can it be done? I don't know much about how the system works so if anyone knows I would appreciate advice on how to do this if it can, in fact, be done. I've also posted this in the Audio forum.

I don't see why not. The deck is non amplified, so tap into the input signal leads from the deck at the amps. Then, hook up a relay to the "switchable" power wire on one of the amps to turn on the second set of bose amps you'll have, run positive and neg. to the amps, hook up to new 6x9's, and mount where ever they make you happy, the rear doors perhaps?

Wow...that's a good idea. Instead of buying whole new equipment just add a speaker or two to the current one.
I am definitley going to look into that. Maybe put two more speakers on the deck and a set in the rear doors...very interesting.
Good idea.
