Can someone send me a picture of an interior seat or seats in their 94 Maxima if it is grey cloth. I need to see what the seat design looks like.

The stitching is different from GXE to SE but thats it. There are also two styles of cloth seats. One is tweed and the other is regular fabric.

in other words.

The grey tweed seats from a 92SE is the same as the ones for the 93SE and 94SE but different from the same years GXE.

The regular grey cloth form a 92SE is the same as the ones for the 93SE and 94SE but also different than the GXE.

The SE has a line down the center and the GXE does not.

I found this picture of my regular grey cloth from my 93SE. This should be the same as the regular grey seats (non tweed) in the 92-94SE. The line going down the center is not there on the GXE...and I am not sure how the rest of the seat compares on the fabric seats. I know on the leather seats the GXE just has big square panels where the SE has the line (like on my cloth) going down the center.

 

I didn't realize that you could get an SE with cloth I thought the tweed was standard
haven't seen an se with cloth around here.

 

There was an SE at the junkyard with a nice gray cloth interior. I should go grab it :| I actually kind of like my tweed though...

 

I like the tweed too. To me the pecking order (my opinion) is cloth like I posted a pic of, tweed and then leather. I know a lot of people dont like leather but my brand new Katzkin leather is worth every dime I spent on it. I absolutely love it.

 

I replaced my factory black leather with a set of grey cloth like in the picture above. I don't think I took a step down at all. I'm sure the leather was real nice when it was new, but it gets pretty firm over the years and shrinks up from the sun. Not to mention it's super cold in the winter and burning hot in the summer. Also, I no longer slide around in my seat when taking hard turns. I bought the entire set of grey cloth (in mint/new condition) for about $100 - money well-spent in my mind.

 

Thanks for those great replies. It is a GXE seat I am looking at and the replies dealt primarily with SE's. The 92 cloth seat on the GXE looks like the side panels of the seats in the 93 pictures posted by awsm66 except the stripes run vertically up the back of the seat and the base seat stripes run parallel to the back of the seat stripes. It sounds like if the 92 to 94 SE cloth seats are the same, then probably the 92 to 94 GXE cloth seats are the same design also. Thanks for the information. It would still be nice to see a 94 GXE cloth seat...any colour.... to see the design.
